**Free, short, and permanent subdomains for developers and creators.**

Intent provides premium subdomains with a focus on simplicity and longevity. Our service is **free forever**, contains **no advertising**, and is built for the community.

> **Non-Profit Status:** Intent is a project fiscally sponsored by **Hack Club**, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This sponsorship provides us with our non-profit status and financial infrastructure.

### 💎 Short & Premium Domains
By default, you can instantly register subdomains with **4 or more characters**. 

If you are working on a high-quality project or you would like a **1, 2, or 3-letter domain**, please contact the administrators on our **Discord server**. We manually review these requests to prevent squatting and ensure they go to active projects.

## 🛠️ How to Get Your Domain

1. **Check Availability:** Use our [WHOIS Lookup](https://dash.int.yt/public-whois.php) to see if your desired name is available.
2. **Create an Account:** Sign up at the [Intent Dashboard](https://dash.int.yt/signup.php).
3. **Register:** Claim your domain through the user dashboard.
4. **Connect DNS:** Point your domain NS(nameserver records) to your hosting provider.
   **Supported: FreeDNS, Namecheap.**
   **Coming Soon: Intent-DNS support.**
